Miguel Fernandez Barreras, MD

Miguel Fernandez Barreras, MD, is a primary care physician with more than 20 years of experience. Dr. Fernandez focuses on geriatric medicine and urgent care. He is an emergency medicine residency trained specialist. Over the course of his career, he has worked all over the United States, primarily in the emergency room setting. He has completed training in ATLS – Advanced Trauma Life Support. Dr. Fernandez obtained his medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University District Hospitals, UPR in the USA Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He joined Palm Medical Center in 2023.
