JESUS MENENDEZ, M.D

Dr. Jesus Menendez-Rivera, obtained his Medical Degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Havana, Cuba in 1990. He did his residency in Pinar del Rio Cuba, from 1990 to 1991. Began his own practice in 2002, which has recently become part of the Palm Medical Centers Family.

RENE HASBUN, M.D

Dr. Hasbun received his medical degree from Universidad Nacional de El Salvador in 1976, followed by a residency in General Surgery at Hospital Rosales, El Salvador (1978-80). He has been a Primary Care Physician with Palm Medical Centers since 2015.

EDGAR GONZALEZ, M.D

Dr. Edgar Gonzalez received his medical degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, in Cuba, in 2004. He completed his internship in Family Medicine in 2013, at the Hospital San Gerardo in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Gonzalez is also certified in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He recently, in August 2017, joined the Palm Medical Centers Family.

Alexander Alvarez, P. A. received his Associates in Science Physician Assistant from Miami Dade College in Miami, Florida in 2006. He is NCCPA Certified and his professional memberships include AAPA (The American Academy of PAs) and FAPA (The Florida Academy of Physician Assistants). Alvarez joined our Palm Medical Centers family early 2017.

LUIS MARTINEZ, M.D

Dr. Martinez received his medical degree from University of Costa Rica Medical School, at San Pedro Montes de Oca, Costa Rica in 1980, and subsequently completed a year of Categorical Internship training at Detroit Macomb Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. In 1987, he completed his residency in OB/GYN at Brooklyn Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Martinez has been with Palm Medical Centers since 2015.

YUNEISY GARCIA, M.D

Dr. Yuneisy M. Garcia, MD, FAAP, obtained her Medical Degree from the Federated University of Costa Rica, in San Jose, Costa Rica in March 2006. On June 2015, she finalized her Pediatrics Residency training in San Juan City Hospital. Dr. Garcia is board certified by The American Academy of Pediatrics, and she holds as well a NALS certification and a PALS certification. Dr. Garcia joined the Palm Medical Centers family in 2017.

Cynisia McBean, P.A., attended to Barry University-Miami Shores, Florida where she received her master degree of Clinical Medical Science (MCMSc), Physician Assistant. Professional Certifications: NCCPA Certificate, BLS/CPR certified. She has been working with Palm Medical Centers since 2014.

JACQUELINE SALAZAR, M.D

Dr. Salazar received her medical degree from Universidad Central del Este, Dominican Republic in 1980. She then completed a residency in Family Practice at Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois (1982), followed by a residency in Pediatrics at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, also in Chicago (1985). Dr. Salazar joined Palm Medical Centers in 2016.

KATHERINE O’FLYNN, M.D

Dr. Katherine O’ Flynn, M.D., F.A.A.P. obtained her Medical Degree from St. Andrew’s University in St. Andrew’s, Scotland in 1973. In North Manchester Hospital, England, she completed her Internship in Internal Medicine in January 1977. Later the following year she did her residency in pediatrics at the University Hospital of the West Indies, Jamaica. Dr. O’ Flynn obtained her Diploma of the American Board of Pediatrics November 1985.  She joined recently in October 2017, the Palm Medical Centers family.

Dr. Arlene E. Haywood, M.D. obtained her Medical Degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C., in June 1975. She as well finalized her Residency, straight pediatrics, at the D.C. General Hospital in Washington in 1976. As well she has an association with the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1981. Dr. Alene Haywood joined recently in October 2017 the Palm Medical Centers family.

Aida Martinez, PA-C, attended Miami Dade College where she received on 2014 her diploma from the Physician Assistant Program. She completed her bachelor of Applied Science Physician on 2016. Professional certifications: American Heart Association ACLS certification, American heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED). She recently joined Palm Medical Centers on July, 2017.

Leyany Nodarse Fleites, PA-C, attended to Miami Dade College, where she completed her associate in Science-Physician Assistant, with highest Honors, on July 2016. On 2017 she finished her Bachelor of Applied Health Science with Highest Honors as well in Miami Dade College. She has several certifications as NCCPA PA-C Certificate, BCLS certified along with Honors and Awards like Physician Assistant Scholarship Award in 2016. She joined recently the Palm Medical Centers family.

KENIA CARBONELL, P.A

Kenia Carbonell Muria obtained her Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013 from Florida International University in Miami Florida. She completed her Doctor in Medicine Degree in Cuba 2004, and after that she did her Residency Program in Ophthalmology in Habana, completing it in 2007. She belongs to the American Nurse Association along with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Kenia has been with Palm Medical Centers since January 2018.
