Erick Ortega-Perez, MD
Born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, in 1980, Dr. Erick M. Ortega-Pérez earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and completed his medical studies at the Pontificia Católica Madre y Maestra University in the Dominican Republic. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he initially returned to Puerto Rico to practice medicine, gaining experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Room, Orthopedics, and Primary Care.
In 2020, Dr. Ortega-Pérez relocated to Florida to take on a primary care physician role. He focuses on preventive care, managing chronic conditions, and helping patients stay informed about their health. Dr. Ortega-Pérez believes in working closely with other healthcare providers to ensure his patients receive the best possible care. He takes the time to listen and understand each patient’s unique needs, striving to build trusting relationships and provide care that is compassionate and thorough.
