Dr. Muniz studied Biology at the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez. She then continued her studies abroad and obtained her medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2001. Dr. Muniz pursued her medical career in Puerto Rico, working mainly in emergency and urgent care settings. Fluent in English and Spanish, she moved to Florida with her family in 2020, where she worked as a primary care physician in the Kissimmee area. Dr. Muniz believes in treating her patients with the same attention and devotion she would offer to her loved ones. At the end of the day, there is no better feeling than knowing she helped improve, heal, and save a patient’s life. In her free time, Dr. Muniz enjoys reading, listening to music, and discovering different culinary experiences with her family.
